At Shuga you’ll probably noticed that our coffee menu is more purist than at other coffee shops, we wanted to let you taste each drink as its supposed to be.

We believe in preparing each drink in a way that enhances the inherent flavours and characteristics of our incredible beans, we didn’t want to buy great beans and then ruin them by drowning them in gallons of milk, thats not what great coffee is about.

We love it when you ask us about our menu, our beans or anything else related to coffee so please feel free to have a chat.

Origin Coffee Roasters are all about the collective, in their words it’s all about everyone, the farmers, pickers, sorters, drivers, rakers, washers, dry millers, cuppers, roasters, trainers, baristas and drinkers.
Origin buy beans through direct trade relationships with the farms which means they pay 50% more than Fairtrade for their exceptionally high quality beans.
Shuga use an Origin espresso blend called RESOLUTE, it’s milk chocolate, caramel and subtle berry undertones make it perfect for milk based drinks.
Other Origin espresso blends and washed coffees for filter will feature on our coffee menu depending on season and availability.
